“The focus of the Budget is on the expenditure side rather than the tax part and this in turn will have a multiplier effect on creating more jobs – be it in healthcare, infrastructure, or others. The increase in capital expenditure to Rs 5.5 lakh crore means more impetus for new projects which will lead to more job creation across sectors over a period of time,” said Madan Sabnavis, chief economist at Care Ratings.
